Chloe Arthaud grew up learning about nature in the mountains of Idaho City, ID. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Idaho in 2019. After graduating Chloe worked as a seasonal crew lead for a youth conservation corporation where she enjoyed teaching and working in the field amongst natural resource managers. She returned to school to pursue her passions for education and environmental conservation, earning a master’s degree in environmental science in 2022 with a focus on the Food, Energy, Water nexus. For her Ph.D. work she has pivoted to researching ways to remediate 6PPDQ from aquatic ecosystems while building her teaching skills by instructing introductory environmental science courses.
